Its always a nice feeling when you get chance to peep back into history . So here i have something for you . The first ever website to published on the net.

The publisher was none other than the pioneer of internet Sir Timothy John Berners

Wikipedia says

Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee (born 8 June 1955) is an English computer scientist, who is credited with inventing the World Wide Web. On 25 December 1990 he implemented the first successful communication between an HTTP client and server via the Internet with the help of Robert Cailliau and a young student staff at CERN.

Athough the url or the domain name of first website is not uknown , it can still be accessed at the archive . As per sources this website went online on 6 August 1991.
